K. Michael Shamberger, M.S., LPCA

Licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) and as a professional school counselor in North Carolina. Member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA)

As a professional counselor I see myself as a listener first. Through listening to and observing my clients I can then assist them as they work their way around, through, and beyond the issues and challenges they face in life. Every human being faces difficult situations at various times. Seeking assistance from an objective third party is sometimes the best solution at the time. Counselors are there to assist in that process. I welcome the opportunity to be of service to you.

I am available to serve clients in the Greensboro and Piedmont Triad areas of North Carolina.

Services

The types of counseling services I offer are one to one, marriage, family, and small group counseling. The counseling theories I use most are Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person-Centered, Reality, and Adlerian, although my goal is to use whatever strategy works best for the client.
